Is the Red Light Constantly on with the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent

Fan operates fine, but there is a red light on the rim that stays on. Is that normal?

Yes the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote part # FV807350 does have a small led that stays lit indicating power.
