Question:
I own a 2015 Subaru Impreza Im looking to get a trailer hitch kit for it so I can tow my KTM on a motorcycle trailer I believe my KTM is about 270 lb and Im looking to get the kit that hangs off the back for the dirt bike would this be possible with my vehicle I only see class 1 tow kits available for my model of vehicle does this mean I will have to buy a trailer kit with a ball attachment and actually pull a trailer instead of mounting the bike on the motorcycle tow kit any information would be much appreciated

The only hitches available for a 2015 Subaru Impreza are a Class I, which would lack the tongue weight capacity to handle the weight of your bike plus a hitch mounted carrier. Typically this happens when it's determined that the under body structure of the vehicle isn't capable of handling weight in excess of 200 lbs.
Your best bet would be to install a hitch and use a small trailer. For the 5 door wagon with a single exhaust, I'd recommend the Curt # C11286 and the Tekonsha # 118573 wiring harness. If you have the sedan, go with the Curt # C11408 hitch and the # 118581 wiring harness. For a ball mount, use # C45521 in the rise position and for a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, use # A-80 or # A-82 for a 2 inch ball.
We offer a couple of small utility trailers, # K2MMT4X6 for a 6 foot long or # K2MMT5X7 for a 7-1/2 foot long trailer.
