Does Bumper Foam Get Re-Installed on 2019 Subaru Outback When Installing EcoHitch Trailer Hitch

Why is the foam that goes between the steel frame and the bumper skin not re-installed in your video of the installation on a 2019 Subaru Outback with the Eco hitch? Can it be re-installed? Thanks.

The foam piece of the bumper on your 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon does not get re-installed when you are putting on the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7601.

It will interfere with the fitment and in the instructions does specify to remove the foam piece because it will no longer be needed. I have added the link to the video you mentioned showing the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7601 being installed on a 2019 Subaru Outback.
