Are Driver and Passenger Side Peterson Trailer Tail Lights Different

Question:

Interested in tail light 4 function. But the info indicates for passenger side, do you need a different light for drivers side? I’m interested in the Petersen 4 inch.

That's a good question, but different tail lights are needed for the driver and passenger side for trailers, including the Peterson lights you asked about.

The reason they are marked as "Driver Side" and "Passenger Side" is because the drivers side light has a bulb underneath which illuminates the license plate, as shown in the accompanying photo. So the lights you need are:

- Driver Side: Peterson Trailer Tail Light # 432000

- Passenger Side: Peterson Trailer Tail Light # 431800
