Question:
Help! Im overwhelmed with options onyour website. We have recently purchased a motorhome and want to tow my 2016 GMC Canyon 4WD, using a NSA Ready Brute 2 towbar with Demco Tabless mounting bracket. Im confused by all the options and suggestions about which tail light wiring and battery disconnect to install. thanks

Hopefully I can help clear things up for you. There are a lot of options.
The wiring I recommend to flat tow your 2016 GMC Canyon is the diode kit # RM-15267. I like this kit because no matter what else you do it'll cover everything you might need. It installs a 6-way on the front of your truck for any additional wires you might use for a charge line kit or braking system.
In addition to the lighting kit I recommend installing part # RM-766 to make it easier to disconnect the Canyon's battery. This is a great addition as long as you don't have a diesel.
In addition to the wiring you need a braking system if you don't have one. I personally like the fully installed systems because there's no set up each time you tow. The initial install is more in depth but after that you just flip a switch to turn them on. I like the Stay-IN-Play DUO, part # SM99251, for motorhomes with hydraulic brakes and the Air Force One, part # SM99243, if it has air brakes.
You also might need a high-low adapter. I've linked our selection as well as an article to help you determine if you need one and which one if you do.
One final note: We carry the Demco tabless base plates for your Canyon, they're part # DM9519319, but we don't carry any adapters to make them fit with the Ready Brute tow bar. Instead we have the Blue Ox base plates, part # BLU93FR, with adapters for the Ready Brute using part # BX88297
