If you like your vehicle to keep its clean, factory look when you’re not towing, this setup does exactly that. The tabless design means there’s no obtrusive crossbar or bulky brackets left visible. The tabs stay attached to the tow bar, not the front of your vehicle. Snap-in polyethylene covers keep dirt and debris out of the receivers so the arms slide in and out smoothly every time.
Connecting is quick and solid thanks to the twist-lock system. Just insert each arm into the base plate socket, twist to lock, and secure with the included pull pin for an extra layer of safety. When it’s time to disconnect, pull the pin, twist, and slide out—simple as that. The distance between brackets is 28-3/8" and the bracket height is 14-1/2", giving you reliable measurements for planning your setup.
This base plate kit bolts securely to the chassis with no welding required. The sturdy steel design spreads towing force evenly across the frame to minimize suspension stress during long-distance trips. The dependable construction helps ensure your tow setup stays solid through thousands of miles on the road.
You don’t have to swap out your favorite tow bar. This kit works with all Demco, etrailer, and Blue Ox tow bars without any adapter. If you’re using a Roadmaster setup, just add the correct adapter (DM9523036, DM9523062, DM9523014, or DM9523023—sold separately). It even includes an electrical bracket so you can easily mount a round connector plug up front for a tidy wiring setup.
This setup is designed for straightforward installation with simple bolt-on mounting—no welding needed. The kit comes with detailed instructions and all necessary hardware, making it a manageable project whether you’re in your garage or driveway. Once bolted up, you’ll have a solid connection ready for confident towing.

The Demco base plate for our 2025 Jeep Gladiator is still the best choice out there. It required no drilling or cutting and is easily swapped out as we lease our Jeep and need to put it on the next Jeep every year. Also very easy to hook up and very robust construction.

As long as the Blue Ox tow bar is a hitch mounted tow bar which means that it connects to the RV via sliding into the hitch receiver then it is compatible with the base plate and does not need an adapter.
