Question:
Have a 2019 GeorgeTown GT5 31L 22,000 with 2018 F53 Frame. After reviewing your site, this seems to be the best fit. My question is the thickness of the base plate that gets mounted below the axle. The current U Bolts have 1-1/2 inch exposed threads below the nuts. I think this should be enough, but would like your expert opinion. Thanks and be safe.

Since the U-bolts on your 2019 Forest River Georgetown GT5 motorhome have 1-1/2" exposed thread, it is very unlikely you will need the longer 15-7/8" square U-bolts # RM-590050-00 or 20-1/4" long round U-Bolts # RM-590050-10 to install the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-149.
The plate is 1/2" thick (see accopmanying photo) so you will still have an inch of exposed thread, and worst-case scenario is you can order the longer U-bolts if need be, though I am confident you will not need to.
The rear anti-sway bar is a great choice for your Georgetown GT5 because they are a vast improvement over the OEM sway bars and their placement at the rear of the vehicle allows for the greatest improvement in handling. After that you can further improve the ride by adding a front anti-sway bar and steering stabilizer, in that order. The fits for your 22,000 lb GVWR 2019 Forest River Georgetown GT5 Motorhome are:
- Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-149
- Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-148
- Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer # RM42RR
