Question:

Is it necessary to have an accessory bar TH982xt for women and girls bikes If your using the apex TH9025XT carrier, I am going to order the Carrier for my daughter today and she has 2 9 year girls bikes to Transport so I dont know if I need to order the carrier and 3 bars? Please advise.

When using the Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack part # TH9025XT with ladie's and children's bikes I highly recommend using the Thule Bike Adapter Bar part # TH982XT. While it may be possible to get them on the rack without the adapters it will be much more difficult for your daughter to load them up and the bikes will be sitting at very weird angles. I would go with them to save her trouble in the loading so they will enjoy using it more.

As far as the rack goes it is really nice and easy to use. It also locks the bikes to the rack and the rack to the vehicle. Overall a really good choice.
