Does Battery Have to be Disconnected to Flat Tow a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question:
Can you tell me when flat towing a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 4 x 4 keyless ignition does the battery need to be unhooked while towing? It’s confusing to leave it in accessory mode but unhook the battery. Better instruction from GM would be nice. Thank You

Yes, the battery does need to be disconnected to flat tow a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500.
To make it easier I recommend adding the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766.
