What is the Difference Between Dexstar and Taskmaster 16 in. Black Mod Trailer Wheels

Question:

What are the main differences between item #AM20761B and T166BM8. Is there any advantage to the Taskmaster brand? Looking for affordable black wheels for my dump trailer. In the future i plan to add G rated tires. Thank you

The only difference between the Dexstar wheel # AM20761B and the Taskmaster # T166BM8 is that the Dexstar wheel is made in the United States and the Taskmaster wheel is made overseas. I've used both brands of wheels on my trailer and I've had zero issues with them. There is no real advantage in going with the Taskmaster necessarily.

Both wheels can handle G-rated tires, which I also added to a livestock trailer. I went with the Provider F835 ST235/85R16 Tires # TTWPRG235R16 and Dexstar wheels on our trailer.

The price difference is simply due to the pricing the manufacturer sets and a little bit of market pricing for the brand.
