Hi Julian,

Looking at that picture it looks like the landing gear set is welded directly to the frame without using brackets to hold it in place so you'd have to cut the old one off and weld on the mounting brackets for the new set. The only thing else I would check would be the width between the frame posts. The Landing Gear Set w/ Handle # RVLG-8HDL can adjust from 44-1/2" to 72". Its capacity is well over the GVWR of the trailer as well so you should have no issues installing the # RVLG-8HDL on your Jayco Eagle.

When welding on the mounting brackets you'll need to have them set to sit between the weld stops on the legs. I've attached a picture of the weld stop spacing below to help you with this process. If you want to add on a motor and switch to instead of manually raising and lowering the landing gears you can use part # LC217884.

Hey Julian, how did things go with the new landing gear on your Jayco? Did the width and weld bracket setup work out as expected? Your update could make it easier for others working on older campers.
