Looking for a hitch for a 91 Landcruiser. Whats the difference between this Hitch and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch Item # 13091

Curt lists the # 13091 as a fit for the 1992-2000 Mitsubishi Montero but not the 1991 Land Cruiser. They do however list the the # C12181 as being a fit for both the Montero and the 1991 Land Cruiser, so obviously the bolt pattern is identical.
Since the C12181 listed as a fit for your vehicle has a 1-1/4 inch receiver tube, my educated guess would be that Curt doesn't list the almost identical # 13091 as a fit for the 1991 Land Cruiser because it must have a lower towing capacity. I'm unable to locate a .pdf copy of the owner's manual for that vehicle so I cannot verify the towing capacity.
The # 13091 bolt holes will match up, but because Curt doesn't list it as a fit I couldn't make any guarantees regarding fit or performance. If you decide to use the hitch on the Land Cruiser, I'd strongly urge you to abide by any towing capacity limits as mentioned in the owner's manual.
