Do I Install a 10 Amp or 30 Amp Fuse for Trailer Lights in the Fuse Box for a 2013 Toyota Highlander

I purchased this kit for my 2013 Highlander. It comes with a 10 amp fuse for the fuse box. When I open the fuse box, it indicates it should be a 30 amp fuse. What size fuse should I use?

The 10 amp fuse that is included with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56217 will need to be the one that you insert into the # 29 slot. The owner's manual does indeed call for a 30 amp fuse here but that is with the factory converter box, not an aftermarket one. There will not be any problems installing a 10 amp fuse in this location even though the factory calls for a 30 amp.
