Question:
When I read the reviews on the Wireless controller at eTrailer I see mostly 5 stars and just good stuff. When I read reviews on other sites about the same controller I see many 1 star that say the controller is bad. Who do I believe, just how well does the Curt Wireless work.

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 is an excellent option and one of our top selling brake controllers. In regards to our reviews, these are all from real customers. In regards to performance, the controller uses an internal inertia sensor that senses the vehicles braking force and applies the same amount of pressure to the trailer's brakes. There are many other controllers that use this same mechanism and I have personally not heard of any issues with bad performance. The main draw of the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller is that you don't have to drill into your dash to mount a brake controller and it uses a device you are already comfortable with, your phone.
If you are looking for a similar option, we have the Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller part # 3430001 which installs entirely on the trailer.
