Parts Needed to Install 7-Way and Brake Controller on a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek With Factory 4-Way

Question:

I have a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek with Subaru’s 4 pin wiring. Will ETrailers 7 pin adapter work with the ‘24? I want to avoid splicing or cutting any wires. Thanks

Yes, our 7-Way Kit # ETBC7 will connect into your factory 4-way on your 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. This means you will not have to splice into the tail lights. The kit does include universal wiring for both a charge line and Brake Controller # RED52VR which will require you to connect to the battery and splice into the brake switch since your Crosstrek does not have a factory plug and play option for the brake controller.

@Steve You can use a wireless brake controller like the Inline Curt Echo # C51180 with the 7-Way Kit # ETBC7. I just wanted to simply point out you would have to splice in the wiring for an under dash controller as there is not a plug and play under dash option since your Crosstrek does not have the wiring.
