Hi, I have a 2018 VW Golf Sportwagen, and I need to attach my carrier 40lbs for my 180 lb mobility powerchair. Will the Ecohitch 2inch work for that? Thanks,

The EcoHitch part # 306-X7315 that fits your 2018 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen does have a tongue weight capacity of 300 lbs so it would have the capacity needed to carry the weight of your 40 lb carrier and 180 lb mobility chair. The two together weigh 220 lbs which leaves you with 80 lbs of extra capacity.
