What is Depth Including Water Valves of D&W Inc. Spray-Away RV Exterior Hose Hookup w/ Shower Valve

Question:

I would like to intall this item on the transom of my boat but there is limited depth distance. Your specs say the depth is 3-1/2inch deep. Does this length include th 1-1/2inch shank inlet? I need to know the exact length of the depth of thee box to include the shank inlet to back of the face surface. see picture. Thanks

The recommended depth needed when installing the Exterior Hose System part # PF247201 is 6 inches. The water lines at 1-1/2 inches of depth to the housing which is 3-1/2 inches deep.
