Recommended Side Door Step for 2018 Ram ProMaster 2500

Question:

Can you provide the width of the mounting bracket. Im looking for 1 step to mount on the sliding door side of my 2018 ram promaster 2500 cargo van. I need a step that is 7inch from hole to hole to mount it.

At around the 1:40 mark on the attached installation video for # BBS-1103, you can see that the Bully Black Bull Side Steps mount on a little over 8 inches on center. These are designed to fit a wide range of vehicles, but your 2018 Ram ProMaster 2500 isn't one of them.

We do have one custom fit solution to add a step below the sliding door on the side of your ProMaster with the Carr Hide Away Step for Work Trucks # CARR501090. The really nice thing about this step is that it's designed to store under your van when not in use. Just push the step with your foot to extend or retract it. The step bolts to the flat bottom surface of your PoMaster's tool box and can handle up to 500 lbs.

All of the other hoop style steps compatible with your 2018 ProMaster, like # CARR105774 and # CARR105771 are designed to install beneath the passenger and driver front doors only.
