How to Mount the Carr Hide Away Step on a 2022 Ram Promaster 2500 159

Question:

where are the mounting locations for a 2022 Promaster 2500 159. I would like to mount this as far forward toward the opening of the slider as possible, the link to the installation instructions doesnt work, so I cant tell. we tried the single manual Lippert step and it needed to be mounted almost center in the sliding door, if this one does as well it wont work

I have attached some screenshots below from the instructions for the Carr Hide Away Step for Work Trucks item # CARR501090. It looks like there is a lot of latitude in how you mount these slide out steps on your 2022 Promaster 2500. The instructions state:

Between the two threaded studs is where the Rear Steel Bracket will be mounted. This is our recommendation for the best position of the step. You can move the step to either side of these threaded studs for personal preference location.

You don't use the two threaded studs to mount the step. You have to drill all of the holes you use for installation so It looks like you can put this step where ever you want it so long as there aren't any obstructions where you're putting it.
