I just received this item yesterday. I opened the item and is what was advertised. Quality appears decent.
Great product and easy to install on my Sprinter RV
worked fine but went over a kelly hump in the mountains and snapped both steps off! The mounts were fine so I reordered and replaced them (I know now to take them off before heading to elk camp) Just the thing for my height-challenged wife to get in my work van.

I purchase these for my Kubota tractor and they did the job for me. Substantial and well made. I did some modifications but I am please with the steps.

This was recommended on a van life group page to add a step to passenger doors. Easy to install and good quality, solves our issues with getting into our seats.
Fit and finish are excellent. Easy to install do exactly what I expected, making ingress into my Promaster Van much easier. Arrived ahead of time. Give them five stars.
These make entering/ exiting my Promaster van so much easier! Just wish they stuck out a bit farther.
Needed to drill custom holes on my Promaster for install but that’s an issue with the van rather than these. They’ve held up fine for over a year of use no prob.
I installed these on my 2017 promaster and I’m an amateur at best but the video was a big help . They are a solid and help stepping up in the van but getting out you need to place your heel just right . Looks good too.
I installed on a Promaster 1500 Van. The install went pretty smooth. Probably would have written a few steps in a slightly different order. Also, wish the step protruded outward a little farther. It is perfect for the step up, but difficult to find on the step down, and even maybe a little too easy to accidently trip on it. But it is a nice looking step. Sturdy. Instructions easy to follow. And delivered on time with all the pieces in fine shape.
Hello Donna your product looks great and also strong made. We haven't put the hoop step's on the SUV yet. With that being said I'm sure the steps are going to be fine.

These have made life much easier for my wife. She says its very nice getting into our camper now.
The Carr side steps are well designed, well engineered, and well manufactured. The kit comes complete with all the necessary hardware, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Overall, I found them quite easy to install. Only time will tell as to their durability.
Mounted these on a four wheel drive sprinter to make getting in and out easier. Installation was easy enough and straight forward there is a video online that is worth watching a few times to clear up any confusion on how these mount. I used the short spacers on my vehicle but found that customizing the length made for a more solid connection to the vehicle. A belt sander was the best tool for that. You should probably have a primer at hand to deal with any exposed steel.
These fit better than I initially thought on a 2023 Ram Promaster High Roof 136 van. The instructions that came with the steps could be tweaked a bit to make things easier but I watched the installation video on the etrailer page with helped a lot. The steps are lightweight but strong - great help in getting up into the van. All the hardware was included (and accounted for) and the design and install method should last for quite a while. I did paint the holes in the pinch weld after I drilled them as this can be an easy spot for rust to occur. Overall I am very happy with the initial install, sturdiness and look of the steps.

I'm delighted with the final product, but the installation did not jibe with the video for my 2015 Chevy Colorado, nor with the enclosed instructions. I spoke with Bill (ext. 377) at tech support and described the problems. There is no access space to install the upper screw at each bracket, so I had to "re-invent the wheel," by making and attaching steel straps at the bottom of each spacer tube, attaching them with self-tapping screws. There is also a box shaped steel shape that is in the way of installing the brackets in the so called ideal location. I'm now pleased with the installation, but shouldn't have had to go to the trouble I did.

The black finish has completely disappeared the steps are now a grey oxidized color ugly. I guess someone needs to figure out a better way to finish the aluminum.
Reasonably easy install. I installed on an AWD Sprinter and the height is just about right. I may add a few more screws to the top later if it loosens up.

It is not working. My local shop could not install on my 2024 Pro master. They did not fit properly. I informed the company and I’ve never heard from them!!
