Towing Capacity of Bumper Hitch for 2019 Ram 1500

Question:
Hi, I have a 2019 Ram1500 bighorn with the 5.7 hemi 3.21 gears and the crew cab 57inch bed. Im curious what its rated to tow with just the stock bumper hitch. It appears that when you place the ball mount through the bumper that it is actually connecting to a hitch, not just the bumper alone. All Im trying to tow is an off-road tent trax trailer weighing no more than 1500lbs fully loaded. Thank you for any answer I really appreciate it, I can not find anything anywhere addressing this.

I took a look in the owner's manual for a 2019 Ram 1500 and it states that the towing capacity with the bumper hitch is 5,000 lbs. If you don't already have one, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13419 is what I recommend which attaches to the center hole in the bumper and the crash bar. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver is rated for 6,000 lbs but you are still limited to 5,000 lbs.
