Curt Class V Hitch on a 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 with Factory Hitch.
Question:
does the curt class v end up being in addition or underneath the factory hitch or does the factory hitch come off first? I like the idea of both so i can also put a mudflap carrier on the original hitch above the curt class five. On a 2500 ram , both are there the curt under the factory hitch.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2" part # C15460 that you looked at is a replacement hitch meaning it will take the place of your current factory hitch. For a dual reciever tube opening you want to use the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - Dual 2" Receivers part # TLC1211 . This is also a custom fit hitch that will not require any modifications to be made to the vehicle.
I have linked the hitch below along with a video we did on it.
