Question:

I have been researching front hitches for my 2013 4Runner SR5. The front lower spoiler plastic has been trimmed by the previous owner so modding it a little further to get a hitch as far up as possible is desirable. The C31054 hangs down way to far. Will the C31076 and C31367 mount on my vehicle if the front lower plastic is removed or trimed?

According to my contact in the engineering department at Curt, the two front receiver fits for the 2013 Toyota 4Runner are the # C31054 for limited or SR5 models and the # 31367 for the Trail models.

Curt tells me that due to differences at the front frame structure and tow hooks, the hitches aren't interchangeable I'm sorry to say. It's not just a difference in the front fascia/air dam. Your best bet would be to go with the # C31054.

The C31076 is a fit for 2014 to present 4Runner models, and wouldn't fit your 2013 model.
