Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Hellwig Load Pro 35 above axle heavy-duty helper spring kit. Now these springs have been designed to fit your 2015 to current Ford E-Series Cutaway E-450, then your 1997 to 2014 Ford Van E-450. On custom-fit parts such as the springs, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Pop in the year, make, and model of your vehicle, answer any other questions that it might have for you, and that fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.

So this is a set of helper springs that are designed specifically for your Ford van and Ford E-Series Cutaway. So it's gonna bolt right onto existing mounting points. There's no complicated modifications that are gonna be needed. It comes with all the hardware that you're gonna need to install this into place. And what it really does is give your suspension extra support when you're hauling or towing.

This is rated to handle up to 3,500 pounds of load, which is gonna help keep your truck sitting level instead of sagging in the back. That's gonna make a big difference for steering, braking, and overall control. After you get these installed, you will notice a more stable ride, it's gonna help cut down on sway, bounce, and body roll, especially on those rough roads or when you've got a heavy load in your cargo area behind you. Now, because it's sharing the workload with your factory suspension, this is going to help reduce wear and tear on your springs, tires, and brakes over time. Installation's gonna be pretty straightforward as well.

It's a bolt-on setup, and you're gonna get instructions to guide you through the installation process. And again, this is going to mount above your existing leaf springs, and it comes with the hardware to get that installed above your springs and all the U-bolts and everything. Now there is a few things that I wanted to mention before we wrap up our time together. If your vehicle has a brake fluid proportioning valve, this type of constant rate springs isn't recommended. You're going to want the progressive spring instead.

And also, if you do have a factory overload spring, it may need to be removed first. And this setup is not designed to work with composite or plastic leaf springs because this is such a, this kit is so heavy duty, it could fracture or completely damage those composite or plastic leaf springs.
