Question:
We have purchased a 1992 hallmark cargo trailer. We want to change out the axles and install an electric brake system. Current the axles use 5 lugs and we would like to make the stronger and upgrade to a 6 or 8 lug pattern if possible. What options doe we have and what info is needed to make this change and get parts we need. Thanks

To pick out a replacement axle you need to first know the weight capacity you need, the distance between spring seats, and the distance from hub face to hub face and you'll be set.
We don't have every length possible but we do have the 7k trailer axle part # 8327864-EB which uses 8 lug hubs and has a distance of 79 inches between spring seats and 94 inches from hub face to hub face. If you need something different I attached a link to a page that has all of the axles we carry. If you can't find the length you need you might need to check with a local trailer shop to have what you'd need custom ordered.
