I do have a wiring solution for you, but the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55243 you referenced is not compatible with your truck. It is designed for certain models of 1999-2001 Ford Super Duty trucks.
For your 2004 Ford F-350, you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # C55774, as long as your vehicle is equipped with a factory 7-way connector.
If your F-350 is equipped with a factory 4-flat instead, you can use Curt T-Connector # C55265 to replace the existing connector. If you're looking to upgrade your factory 4-flat to a 7-way, you will need to install adapter # 37185 as there is no plug and play option to complete the upgrade. The existing 4-way plugs into the adapter so you will only need to splice the remaining wires for trailer brakes, 12V battery hot lead, and reverse lights (if equipped). You will need to install circuit breaker # 9510 between the adapter and the battery.
I've attached helpful videos for all options mentioned above at the bottom of the page.
