Features to know about

Handles a Range of Trailers: Three Hitch Balls in One Mount

If you tow different trailers from week to week, having all the right ball sizes ready makes life easier. This mount gives you a 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16" hitch ball all welded to one solid shank. You can haul up to 5,000 lbs on the 1-7/8" ball, 7,500 lbs on the 2" ball, or 10,000 lbs on the 2-5/16" ball. Just pull the mount, rotate it, and slide it back in to switch ball sizes—no tools needed.

Built for Heavy Loads: Solid Steel Shank for Maximum Strength

When you’re towing close to capacity, you want gear that doesn’t flex or rattle. This Curt tri-ball mount uses a solid steel shank that’s one solid piece of bar stock rather than hollow tubing. That solid build gives it extra strength and stability when pulling heavier trailers, helping it stay steady mile after mile.

Clean Look That Lasts: Black Powder Coat Finish

Road grime, rain, and salt can wear down even good towing gear over time. The black powder coat finish on this mount resists corrosion and keeps it looking sharp even after long use. It’s a simple way to protect your investment and avoid rust buildup.

Straightforward Setup: Fixed Design With No Drop or Rise

For rigs that line up level from the start, this fixed design with 0" drop and 0" rise is as simple as it gets. Slide it into your 2" x 2" receiver, secure it with your hitch pin or lock (sold separately), and you’re ready to tow. Fewer moving parts mean fewer things to loosen or wear out over time.

No problems, works great. I ordered the option that has several different sized balls attached which has proven to be very handy since I have had to tow a trailers that have had all 3 sizes!

by:

Very nice for tow your trailers

by:

I received order on delivery date. Package was intact with all parts. Installation was seamless and couldn't be happier. Thank you.

by:

Looks great!!! Nice and heavy duty, hoping that the powder coat holds up under the use and abuse.

by:

Insanely fast shipping... Wow. This thing is a monster, definitely a SOLID hitch.

by:

Great experience

by:

by:

Product was just as advertised. Fast shipping. Good customer service.

by:

This is my second order with etrailer and they have provided a great product and price with truly excellent customer service. I would definitely buy here again! I highly recommend them.

by:

As described great 3 way hitch

by:

Very heavy duty and heavy. The powder coat is pretty thick so it does resist scratches pretty well. It does take a little bit of work, maybe even some shaving of the powder coat around balls for the trailer to fit. I can see this unit lasting a lifetime. I've only used it a handful of times after owning it for a year, but it works well. And it is indeed very heavy.

by:

Awesome mount. Has all 3 ball sizes

by:

Anyone looking for towing parts should look to etrailer first. I compared etrailer's prices with other websites, and while I might have saved less than $10 there on a $200 order, the service I got at etrailer was worth much more than that. You can call etrailer to talk to someone knowledgeable. Do other sites even have a phone number? Julie was friendly and helpful when I placed my order. Thanks Julie. etrailer has videos that show they product you're buying being installed providing peace of mind that what you're buying will work on your vehicle. Shipping was free and fast. Just 2 days and my parts were waiting for me on my front porch. I can't imagine buying these types of parts anywhere else.

by:

Needed both a 2" and 1-7/8" ball for the two trailers that I routinely use.... This 3 ball hitch has high ratings for each of the balls and is very well made and finished.
Recommend the product and the service from e trailer.

by:

Really solid, straight, and easy fit. What I like MOST is the customer service of eTrailer, however. I placed an order for the hitch and a wiring kit for my Toyota, including quicker shipping. One of their reps called me to let me know that an ice scraper I'd also thrown in, to get over the free shipping threshold, wasn't available, and ask me what I'd like to do. I guess I've gotten used to sub-par customer service, because it was a really nice change to have a person with good phone skills call me, talk through my options, and ask me what I'd like to do. Not an email, but a real person, with nice manners, who spoke to me like a person. It made my day, and I really appreciated it. Both products arrived the next day and were just as advertised. In a twitter-length summary: "Modern online service with an old fashioned personal touch--just what buying online should be." Thank you!!

by:

I purchased the solid shank, for its ratings are extremely high. But I purchased from etrailer for their customer service. I have purchased from them in the past, but it has been some time. When looking for a new hitch and lock pin, they came to mind. And I am very pleased! Quick, easy and best priced. They communicate every step of the way. I wish I would have purchased some other items here, that I have bought lately.

by:

Functionally, this hitch has been great with no issues to date. Aesthetically, the black color did quickly fade to a gray color within a couple of months. Ball surface also presented rust after very minimal use. That being said, I did buy a hitch to tow trailers, not look pretty.

by:

When its labeled as heavy duty they are not kidding. This ball mount is stout to say the least. Great price for awesome product!

Just fine. Still looks good.

by:

Fits perfect. Very nice look. Appears to be very durable.

by:

Fits in my Curt #14301 Hitch just great. With my half ton truck, i really only need the rated capacity of the 2" ball.

Having this just allows me to pull the larger (2 5/16") ball that often seems to get used as a replacement on old boat trailers.

  • What Is The Distance From The Pin Hole To The Back Of The Shank?
Hey Vin, If you notice on the Curt Multi-Ball Mount # C45650 there are 2 bolt holes depending on what size ball you are using. If used with the 2-15/16" ball the distance from pin hole to the back of the shank is 3-1/2". If you use 1-7/8" or 2" ball it is 2-3/4". I will attach a photo to better reflect that for you below. What are you looking to tow using this?

  • Easy to Install Trailer Hitch for 2020 Chevy Express Cargo Van
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98861 is the one I recommend for your 2020 Chevy Express cargo van. When it comes to installing this hitch, it really doesn't get much easier than this. All you'd need to do is raise it and line it up with the existing holes in the van's frame. From there, just install the hardware and torque to specs. As mentioned, this hitch utilizes the vehicle's factory frame holes so there is zero drilling required. I've attached an installation video for you...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2017 Chevrolet Express Van
The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT45507 is basically the top of the line receiver for your 2017 Chevrolet Express Van. It is class 5 with a max towing capacity of 12,000lbs and 14,000lbs with weight distribution hitch. This also has a 2-1/2" receiver opening. If you are not going to be towing close to the weight rating of the Draw-Tite receiver then you could go with a class 4. For a class 4 receiver I recommend the Etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98861. This receiver has a max...

  • Picking Out a Ball Mount for 2019 Silverado 1500 based On Hitch and Coupler Heights
Since the coupler height picture you sent in isn't with the trailer level it's hard to say what rise or drop you'd need. Typically you take the distance from bottom of coupler lip to ground compared to distance from top of hitch opening down to ground. Using your two figures of 20 inch on the hitch and 23 on the coupler you'd need a rise of 3 inches. But without the trailer being level I can't really recommend that. Could you level the trailer and get me what the coupler distance is again?...

  • Ball Mount With No Rise or Drop for 2019 Toyota Tacoma With 2 Inch Hitch
Since the Brophy Ball Mount # EA40 with a 3" rise is too much it sounds like you need a ball mount with no rise or drop. For that the best option is a fixed ball mount with the hitch balls attached, the Curt Multi-Ball Mount for 2" Hitches # C45650. This ball mount will have no drop or rise and give you a 1-7/8", 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.
