I have a 2019 GMC 2500 WT 4x4 with 8’ utility body and tow a 8x16 box trailer 7000k with 2-5/16 ball what hitch would you recommend

The best option I have for a 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 WT (Work Truck) is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15460. The issue with the WT (Work Truck) models is that none of the aftermarket trailer hitch manufactures such as Curt or Draw-Tite offer confirmed fits for this model as there is no way of testing them with each utility body out there. However, the attachment points on the frame should be the same and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver has been used on WT (Work Truck) models in the past so this is your best option.

Please note, the distance from the top of the receiver tube to the bottom of the frame is 6-1/2" so your utility bed cannot hang down past this point in order for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver to work.
