Trailer Hitch Receiver With The Most Ground Clearance On 2020 Toyota RAV4

Question:

I have a 2020 toyota RAV4 what trailer hitch has the best ground clearance? I have a bike rack without a rise in the shank so need to make sure it won't scrape the ground in my steep driveway. I want a 2" hitch.

I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit part # DT82QR for the 2020 Toyota RAV4 to carry the bike rack because it does provide about a 1/2" more ground clearance compared to the other options. I do not see you having any issues scraping the ground with your bike rack.

When we installed the hitch on a 2019 Toyota RAV4 there was about 5" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside of the bumper so if your bike rack folds up the shank will need to be at least 5" from the center of the hitch pin hole of the rack to the closest part of the bike rack to clear the bumper.
