While we don't have a way to increase the weight capacity of your 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 we do have really high capacity hitches that fit your truck like the Curt hitch part # C15319 that have a 16,000 lb trailer weight capacity and a tongue weight capacity of 2,400 lbs.
