Helpful Expert Reply:
I spoke with Advent about the Electric Heat Strip for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners part # ACMHD and they informed me that this can be added to any Advent Air RV Air Conditioner no matter if it is a ducted or non-ducted unit with no additional parts needed. Therefore, you will not need any sort of new control box to use the Electric Heat Strip for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners on a Advent Air RV Ducted 15,000 Btu Air Conditioner. The Advent Electric Heat Strip simply plugs into the overhead unit.
