I recommend using the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76184 on your 2023 Chevrolet Traverse. This receiver is designed to install behind your rear fascia and is accessible by the removable panel on the rear fascia. It has a welded tab which will allow you to install a Mounting Bracket # PK12711U to attach a 7-way connector.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118287 will allow you to add a 7-way connector to your Traverse. An Adapter # 78118 can be used when towing smaller trailers with only a 4-way or 5-way flat connector.
