will this work with standard ball mount? i have a 2 inch receiver on my suv. i need a 5-6 inch drop for my trailer5000lbs and would like to use and accessory above that. thank you, also, if this would work would you have it available without the ballmount as i use the convert a ball system. thank you

Yes, the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # 325-GH-414 can be used with any standard 2" ball mount or trailer hitch receiver, such as what your SUV is already equipped with.
For just the receiver portion of this unit without the hitch balls you can use part # 325-GH-404. This will allow you to use your existing ball mount on the bottom receiver and your hitch-mounted accessory on the top receiver. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
When using the adapter in this manner just be sure that you don't exceed the tongue weight capacity of your hitch or SUV with the combined weights from the accessory and trailer.
