2020 Nissan Rogue Manual Says Not to Tow But There Are Hitches Available Can I Tow a Trailer?

I just bought a 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport and the owners manual says that the vehicle isn't supposed to be towed with, but you have trailer hitches available- does that mean I can actually tow with it? I've been thinking of buying a small pop-up camper.

It's always best to follow the recommendations that are stated in your owner's manual, so I would not recommend towing a trailer of any size with your 2020 Nissan Rogue. With that being said, hitch manufacturers will manufacture a hitch for any vehicle that has a demand for it- and there are some great reasons that people would want hitches that don't involve towing.
