How to Fit Inno Wedge 660 on 2020 Toyota 4Runner with Factory Roof Rack

I have a 2020 4Runner with Factory cross bars. They are quite low to the roof of the car. How far below the cross bars does this clamp system extend when in the mounted position?

While I don't have the specs of the mounting clamps for the Inno Wedge 660 Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRM660WH directly on hand, what I can say is that the clearance under the OEM crossbars for your 2020 Toyota 4Runneris too low to mount any cargo boxes because even when the clamps do fit around the bars, whenever weight is added to the boxes the clamps end up pressing down on the roof of the 4Runner and they can cause damage.
Since this is the cans I recommend removing your OEM crossbars and replacing them with the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MPG215 instead. This is a cost-effective way (compared to other roof racks) to add enough clearance for any accessories you wish to use on your vehicle.
Once you have the aftermarket roof rack installed you'll be able to use the Inno Wedge 660 perfectly fine - even without hatch interference.
