Cargo boxes, bags, and baskets are great for transporting gear on your vehicle's roof. A cargo box has the added benefits of an aerodynamic shape that reduces drag and wind noise, a hard shell to protect your gear, and a higher degree of weather resistance. And you can latch and lock a cargo box for added protection against theft.
The Wedge has 11 cu ft of storage space for groceries, luggage, skis, snowboards, and other gear. The aerodynamic, low-profile design helps to reduce drag and wind noise, and the locking lid conveniently opens from either side of your vehicle. The box has internal tie-down points for securing cargo, and the Memory Mount system offers easy, tool-free installation.
The Wedge's lid is constructed of durable, 3-layer ABS plastic with a transparent acrylic outer layer. This gives it a glossy finish yet it's still resistant to impacts, scratches, warping, cracking, and UV rays. The base is formed using an SPM injection-molding process that makes the box strong, durable, and lightweight. The injection molding also ensures a uniform thickness throughout and is 50 percent stronger than vacuum-formed boxes.
The Wedge lid opens from boths sides for easy access to your cargo. This ensures your gear is always close at hand whether you mount the box in the center of your roof or closer to the driver's or passenger's side.
The lid includes push buttons that allow you to easily open it with a single hand.
The Wedge has a safety lock system with locks on each side of the lid. The keys cannot be removed unless the box is closed and locked. This prevents you from driving off with an unlocked box. The locks also deny would-be thieves access to your gear and the cargo box's mounting hardware.
The Wedge cargo box installs with programmable Memory Mount clamps. After a one-time setup, the clamps will "remember" your vehicle's specific crossbars to make repeat installation quick and easy.
For the initial setup just place the box on your crossbars and insert the clamps through the tracks in the bottom of the box. The clamps adjust along the tracks to accommodate different crossbar spreads. Tighten the clamps with built-in knobs and flip the cam levers closed. The next time you install the box, the clamps will return to this set position when you close the cam levers - no further adjustment needed.
Two included tie-down straps let you secure your gear to 4 internal anchor points built into the mounting clamps. Simply thread the nylon straps through anchor rings on the mounting clamps and wrap them around your gear. The straps secure with buckles that can be opened and closed with one hand.
Two strap hooks are also included. These hooks attach to the underside of the box lid and provide a place to hang the straps to keep them out of the way as you're loading cargo.

I’m glad I chose this box over the other brands. It’s way more attractive, has a low clearance to fit in a standard garage, and I would say it’s better constructed. I did a careful mileage check before and after installing this box. The roof rack alone is noisy and has a 1.2 mpg drop. The rack with the 11 cubic foot Inno box is quiet and increased the mileage by 1.0 to 1.4 miles per gallon until 70 miles per hour. I checked this with the same vehicle load and also used the same route for these readings. It seems to work well with the shape of the Xt5.

Thanks etrailer! Product was as advertised. It arrived in perfect condition, and it was just about the easiest roof rack piece of kit I've ever installed. Did it by myself in about 1/2 an hour (including unwrapping). It is much quieter at 75 mph than the ski rack it replaced. Fit perfectly on a VW ID4 with Thule Aero Cross Bars. Free shipping and $[XX] bucks less than [online vendor]. Can't beat it.

Have to give it a 5 star rating for many reasons. It makes very little to no noise on the highway. Did I mention that I looks awesome? The aerodynamic shape gives a better look to our van. It's been a year already and the paint looks just as the day we got it. I love how easy and fast it is to install it and remove it from out van.

So far so good. It is a little noisy and flexible, i plan on adding some structural support to the lid and floor of the box soon. I love it though
Installed on a White 19’ VW Alltrack w/ OEM crossbars. Fitment is excellent and looks are even better
This is one of the best looking boxes on the market. Build is great. I was able to install on my own - unit weighs a little over 40lbs. Being one of the only factory white boxes was also a big selling point.
One caveat, the internal storage height is only 8.5”, so make sure that is enough height for your needs.

The Inno wedge after the first year of use has been outstanding. Great for ski trips and we used it for two golf bags one time. Holds more than expected and looks great on our white hero.
This is a beautiful addition to my wagon! I have another ski box made by a competitor that cost significantly more that isn’t as good. Dual sided entry, accented handles, quiet going down the road (with the t-slot mounting system, part # inbrp12), and plenty of room for adjustment to fit without hitting the hatch. Regardless of price, this is the roof box I would choose. Also, amazingly fast shipping with zero damage at delivery. For reference: 2022 Audi A6 allroad in Glacier White.
The box looks sleek and the proportions match my white Tesla Model 3. The memory locks are easy to adjust and install. etrailer staff was extremely helpful, especially Becky. The supply chain issues delayed the arrival of the cargo box but Becky kept me up to date on the status of the box and any unexpected delays.

It’s So Sleek, low profile and more aerodynamic than other models. Another comment I would like to mention is that I can drive in and out of our garage (door height 84”) We haven’t had any problems in any parking garages at the Ski Areas we have visited with parking garages.

It’s replacing my Thule I got not too long ago. It’s great quality . The lock mechanism with the push button to open beats the hard to squeeze slide bar on the Thule so far I love it

Still working like the first day I bought it. I always look forward to putting her back on the rig.
The INNO roof box 660 was delivered yesterday without a scratch, a relief. After unboxing it didn’t take much time to figure out the amazingly easy clamping system. So easy! After I tested out the double hinge I drove 85 miles between 70 and 70 mph and it was stable and really quiet. Which is good because the Tesla is a really quiet car and excessive wind noise would not be good. Good purchase, would highly recommend. Now time to fill it with stuff…….White box on white car works really well also. Looks custom made….

Works great a year later, we went to Flagstaff and Keystone from Minnesota and drove over 4000 miles with the INNO box and it still looks like new.
Box is fantastic low profile option and is one of the lowest profile boxes I could find. Just barely meets my requirement of being able to clear a 7’ garage door on a Honda Pilot Black edition, but makes it. The box Realistically fits 4 pairs of wider all mountain and or powder skis. I was able to squeeze in one additional pair of kids skis but it’s tight. Box handles my 180 and 185 skis easily and think the 190 max on the sides and 180 in the center are fairly accurate if not a little conservative for the profile of skis I have. Box is extremely easy to operate and has minimal wind noise even at 80mph. Shipping was fast, packaged well, and arrived in perfect condition. A bonus is the painted white box goes well with Honda’s pearl white paint.

Really impressed with this ski rack. The low profile is perfect for my low garage clearance. Also the locking mechanism is dramatically better than Yakama’s locks, which is the rack I had previously. Easy open and close. No sound at all when driving

Perfect size for a Q7. We are not skiers but frequent beach goers! I wanted a slim box that could fit all of our beach gear, and this one works perfectly. Can fit 3-4 beach chairs, umbrella, beach bags, fishing poles etc. It’s a snug fit, but well worth the slim profile. (Beach chairs are 25” wide) also, the badging comes off with a little bit of blow dryer heat and dental floss

One year and one heavy use ski and hauling season in, this box is performing like new. Latches are great. No leaks. Super quiet. Holds 4 pairs of skis and poles with room to spare. I put an old piece of carpet in it to keep stuff from sliding around because I’m too lazy to use the internal straps. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a box from anyone else! Well done Inno and etrailer. Five stars.
