Troubleshooting CE Smith Trailer Guide Ons Not Lighting Up

Figured it out. Can’t ground to an aluminum trailer. All good now

If LED lights are wired backwards they won't work and no damage would be done to them so it's possible your CE Smith Guide Ons part # CE27760 are wired backwards and you could simply reverse the wiring to get it to work again. With this kit though the wire that has the ring terminal is for the ground and the other should attach to the trailer running light circuit. Most likely this is how you wired it up so I'd make sure the ground connection is solidly connected to the frame of the trailer and the power wire is connected to the running light circuit.
