is it possible to hook the red light to brake light wiring? Thanks

The LED lights on the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27760 do not have separate wiring for only the red portion of the LED Cap Light # CE27656A. They are normally used to act as running lights to make maneuvering the trailer easier in low light conditions as well as providing an extra marker light for other vehicles on the road to better see the boat and trailer. If you would rather wire these lights to your brake lights circuits there would not be an issue with that.

Do understand that the LED lights will only illuminate when either the brakes are activated or your turn signals are used. And these lights can not act as the only working and visible tail lights for your boat trailer.
