Does 2020 Ford F-350 with Leveling Kit Need Spacers When Installing Timbren Suspension Kit

Published 10/23/2019

Question:

I have a 2020 Ford F-350 that I plan to put a leveling kit on but also want to install a Timbren setup on the rear for more support. DO I need spacers or anything?

Typically a leveling kit for the suspension of a truck like your 2020 Ford F-350 is a slight lift to the front suspension so that the front and rear of the truck is leveled. Higher rated trucks like yours have the rear suspension sitting up quite a bit taller since the suspension is beefed up more back there to compensate for the weight of cargo or a trailer.

So with a Timbren kit like the # TFR350SDJ that fits your truck installed you wouldn't need any spacers as long as only the front suspension was lifted.

However, if the the leveling kit does lift the rear of the truck then you will want to install increments of the part # A25723-90AH00 (1 inch) and part # TA25722-90P00 (1/2 inch) until there is 1/2 inch to 1 inch of space between the bottom of the Timbren spring to the top of the contact point or axle.
