Whether you're hauling heavy loads in your bed or cargo area or you're towing a trailer, you will often see the rear of your vehicle sag while the front end rises. In these cases, the rear axle is handling not only the weight of the cargo, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Because less weight is on the front axle, the front tires are making less contact with the road. Overall handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above the rear axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down to where the bottom of the spring sits, 1" above the axle. The inch of clearance allows the existing factory suspension to operate normally under light loads and standard terrain, ensuring the smooth, comfortable ride that you are used to.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's side or passenger's side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you are hauling off-center loads.
Because the vehicle handles better with the springs, less turbulence will be passed along to the trailer, and this helps to keep the trailer in line. Your driving comfort is further enhanced if the trailer does begin to sway (from a gust of wind or a passing semi), because the movement from the trailer is not transferred to your vehicle. This also works to make the sway subside more quickly.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. And more elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride because the rubber has more travel.

But that was 2 trips into the house cause my deep drive sockets were buried. F-350 gasser with 8’ box, Fiberglas cap, 200lb wooden storage drawers and estimated 400lbs in tools. I tow a 14k bumper pull dump that squats the truck. I installed the spacer with the timbrens and it sits on the original axle stop. Ride quality is unknown as I haven’t driven it yet.

After a year these are still working as expected and I recommend them to everybody I know that tows trailers.
These keep my truck level with my slide in camper on board. It no longer rests on the helper springs. I have gained over 2” of height on the bed. Super easy to install. They also are noticeable on corners. Not nearly as much lean.
The original timbrens were much too stiff and resulted in the elongation of the hitch pin holes. I opened a line of communication with Timbren had me make very specific measurements, and sent me replacement springs (shorter). I have not installed them yet (and have not found need for them). In my opinion these are only appropriate for heavy, permanent loads such as a slide in camper or welding setup and such.
I would not recommend them for periodic loading applications of less than 50% payload capacity on a 22 F350 SRW
Timbren customer service was excellent
In stalled these on my 17' F350 SRW, & these work great if you haul a gooseneck for a living or haul any type of trailer. No sag whatsoever,but lose maybe like 1-2" of height when loaded. From the price, they beat having to install bags that will eventually need maintenance.
This product work great,it eliminates the roll of the suspension. I would recommend this product.
The Timbrens worked well however because of the rougher ride I chose to remove them and replace with airbags and onboard compressor. Being able to adjust the ride while pulling a heavy 5er, made for a much better ride. I would put the timbrens back on the truck if the airbags ever fail.

Product was easy to install, 1/2 hr taking my time. Used a open end wrench and floor jack. My 2018 F350 Super Duty Super Cab 4wd no longer plunges over bumps, it has lost all its rear end sway on turning, carries my load much smoother ( loaded all the time ). Even with the load I always carry, the vehicle sits 1” higher in the rear. Prior to the install I was constantly hitting the rubber stops on my factory overload springs.

Excellent! I have since purchased another set from you for a 2019 F350 diesel. These things are just the ticket! The ride and handling is so much better!
I've had the Timbren suspension on my F350 for a year and they work great, I tow a 5th wheel weighing 14,500lbs and no squat and no sway!
Simple to install. Fits like factory OEM bump stops. Much better than the competitor.
This is the second purchase of timbrens from Etrailer. I had installed timbrens on another F350. The installation is simple and they improved our towing experience.
This is an excellent product, performs just as stated and does help with the ride when towing out fifth wheel
Installation was extremely simple. So simple I was able to install this kit with one arm (elbow reconstruction 3 weeks ago). Can’t wait to see how it handles the 5th wheel.
Items came as advertised and were easy to install. They have worked great for heavy loads or when towing our 40’ 5th wheel camper, and did not affect the normal ride of our 2019 F350 Ford Superduty truck!
They did exactly as advertised. Reduced bed travel downward when hooking up and maintained a good ride.

I bought these to offset any squat that I may get while hauling my fifth wheel camper. It literally took me about 15 minutes to remove the old ones and put these onto my 2023 F350. Much easier than dealing with air bags.
These are great!! Removed the sideways motion in curves, removed the front/back rocking motion when crossing interstate bridge joints, and made the truck level with the camper attached. Simple installation as well.

These work great. I have had them a year. They work the same or better than air bags. Super easy to install. Minutes with a beer in hand.
It looks like they are going to do the job. Easy install even had to take one back off to remove spacer. Gained back at least 1-1/2. Truck sits at least an inch off overloads. Little pricey I think for what they are but lot cheaper than air bags. Need to take after photo in day light.

Love these suspension enhancements, great price and arrived on time in box in excellent condition.
Smooths out the bumps. I'm very happy with the product. We traveled on the Alaska highway last summer pulling a 5th wheel with no problems.
Less than 15 minutes to install. Well built product.

Fantastic
We travel full time in our fifth wheel camper. I installed these Timbrens on our 2019 F350 and they perform great! Keep our truck sitting level with camper hooked up. They also help improve the ride while traveling.

Still work great. Also tow a 24’ bumper pull camper. Timbrens definitely help. Selling this truck. I pulled the Timbrens and will be giving them to a friend that tows. I plan to get a set for the next truck. No complaints on function or ride quality.
