Question:
I purchased from etrrailer and installed the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System for the rear axle, part number TFRTT350J on a 2022 Ford F350 . There is a gap between the jounce stop and axle contact point greater than I expected for when no load is on the truck. The instructions state "There should be a ½” to 1 ½” gap between rubber spring and axle to ensure unloaded ride quality". I also see that this larger gap spacing is not that uncommon from reading online forums. Many are suggesting that you can easily resolve this issue using taller or additional spacers. My question is, can you stack these? My gap is a little over 2' so I need about 1 ½” of spacer thickness.

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can stack the 1 inch spacer, # A25723-90AH00 and the 1/2 inch spacer, # TA25723-90AD00 but you will most likely need to replace the hardware too. I suggest you source this locally, purchase Grade 8 hardware, and simply buy one 1-1/2" longer than current bolt.
