Question:

I have a 2006 CL4005 5th wheel and would like to get a new motor and gear, any suggestions on which to get?

I have a recommendation for a completely new landing gear set but if you're wanting to just replace your motor and gearbox then I'd need to know what exact 5th wheel landing gear kit you have installed to see if we have something that is compatible.

For a replacement landing gear set I highly recommend the Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8000 because it uses the standard 15-1/2" and 17-1/2" weld-stop locations plus it has an 8,000 lb weight capacity. This comes with a gear box installed so you just need the manual crank # RVLG-HDL and the motor # LC142178 and switch # LG-145236 if you wanted to operate it with 12V power.

Attached is a photo you can reference for the weld-stop locations. If your current landing gear uses something different just let me know and I can make a different recommendation.
