What is the distance of the bottom of the hitch to the ground? Does the hitch become the lowest point on the van, and decrease the overall ground clearance?

The distance from the bottom of the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98903 to the ground on a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica is going to be around 11" give or take as this can vary slightly by vehicle. I don't have any info as to whether or not this is the lowest point but you can use the above measurement to determine this for yourself. The trailer hitches available for your Pacifica all install in about the same place so the ground clearance will not really change between brands. I took a look at some of the reviews and didn't see any issues with ground clearance so as long as you don't frequently take the Pacifica off-road I think you will be just fine. I have attached some other parts you might want to consider if using the trailer hitch for towing.
