German vehicles really don't like towing trailers that have LED taillights unfortunately since the amperage is so low but we do have a solution for this with the # C57003 for if your trailer has a 7-way or the part # C35FR for if it has a 4-way.

These adapters have load resistors in them which allows your vehicle to think a trailer is connected that draws more amperage and gets rid of the hyper-flash issue you have.

I checked your order notes and you ordered the # 432400 which is incandescent and not LED. That said, if your taillights are working fine without a trailer connected this adapter would be what you'd need to fix the problem as either way your vehicle isn't seeing enough amperage to allow the signals to work properly.
