Wiring Harness for 2013 VW Touareg

Question:

2013 VW Touareg w factory hitch. Do you have a wiring harness that plugs into the factory connector or uses inductive input so not to confuse the car's diagnostic systems

I am not 100 percent sure what you are asking in regards to plugging into the factory connector but I can tell you that there are two connectors that will fit your 2013 VW Touareg, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118668 and the Mighty Cord Replacement 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector for Factory Tow Package # A10-7072VP.

The 7-way is simply a replacement connector for your VW's factory 7-way, if that is what you have. If you have no connector at all then the T-One harness is the only option, and it won't confuse your diagnostic system at all. It just plugs into the tail lights and you run a hot lead to your battery, as you can see by the linked installation video I added of this harness on a Touareg.
