Recommended Upgraded Equalizer for Trailer with 7,000 Lb Axles and 5-3/4 Long Equalizers

Question:

Which equalizer would you recommend for 5 3/4inch replacement. Looking upgrade from standard. I have 7000# axels on my 5th wheel.

The upgraded equalizer kit I recommend for you is the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System part # K71-652-00 which will be an exact fit for the 5-3/4" long equalizers that you have now. The E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System are cushioned therefore will improve the ride quality of the trailer which also translates to less stress on other suspension components.

I understand the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System says it is rated for use on axles up to 6,000 lbs but this has very little to do with weight but rather equalizers associated with said axle capacity so you can use them no problem on your trailer with 7,000 lb axles. I have confirmed this with Dexter in the past as well.
