The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11431 is only rated for 2,000 lbs of towing capacity so it will not allow you to pull a 4,000 lb camper. Also, your towing capacity is relegated to the lowest-rated component, so a trailer hitch will not improve the towing capacity of any vehicle.
