Can I run a 175 80 13d on my single axle boat trailer instead of 185 80 13d?

Yes, you can replace ST185/80-D13 tires with ST175/80-D13 tires on your trailer. The only difference between them is .7" diameter and .4" width so the trailer will drop about .35". For a ST185/80-D13 tire, I recommend the Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire part # AM1ST77 which has a load range D rating (1,610 lbs) and it comes with a two year warranty.
