Replacement Hubs and Bearings for Harbor Freight Trailer

Updated 01/14/2026 | Published 01/04/2026

Question:

Folks - Ive got a HF 94564 trailer and one of the bearings went on the way home and destroyed the bearings and the hub. Looking to replace both sides. Can you steer me in the direction of a part number that I can order for this? I have the 5 lug tires.

Hey David,

Unfortunately, Harbor Freight trailers do not use standard spindles and require a 30205 bearing with a specific 0.985" inner diameter. So, while we have bearings and hubs with similar dimensions to theirs, we do not have the exact bearing or hub you need. Even a slight difference in the inner diameter of a bearing will cause problems. Your best option is to contact the manufacturer to find replacement parts.

Another option would be to replace your trailer axle with one that uses a standard spindle size to make it easier finding replacement parts in the future. I have attached a link to our trailer axle page if you decide that's the direction you want to go.

What axle would you recommend as a replacement?

@DavidB I can get you a recommendation! First, I need some info on the axle currently on your trailer. Please send: - axle capacity - hub face measurement (from outer edge of one hub face to outer edge of the other) - spring center measurement (from center of one spring to center of the other) I also linked a page with some pictures to help demonstrate how to take the measurements!
