Greystone Built-in Microwave 324-000106 Not Heating Up Food

Question:

Anyone have suggestions for a microwave that is not heating up. We just bought the camper it’s a 2019 and the microwave will not heat our food. Thank you for your help

It sounds like you have power to the microwave but it's not heating your food up so the microwave's magnetron is most likely bad which is very common. The magnetron is the part that generates the heat to cook the food in the microwave. Unfortunately we do not sell electrical replacement parts for the Greystone Microwaves so you would need to replace the microwave itself with a microwave like part # 324-000106 (which may be more cost effective) or have a repair person come to take a look at it. I do not suggest testing the magnetron yourself. If your Greystone still has a warranty (it sounds pretty new) then you may be able to get a replacement through them.

You might try unplugging the microwave for a few minutes to allow its circuitry to fully power down, and then plug it back in. If there is another type of fault this may clear it.
